It’s been noted that 12.5% of the population across Europe has naturally curly hair — in Italy that number creeps up to around 17%, slightly above the continental average.
Any curl girl (or boy) knows that your curls are only ever at their best when they’ve been touched by an expert, and the average salon will do. Luckily, Rome has no shortage of fine options for all manners of textured hair — from wavy, to curly, to afro, and everything in between — all of which can be found listed below (in no particular order):

Founder Fulvio Tirrico has over 20 years of international experience, he also perfected the X-CURL cut method used in the five salons across the country (including in Catania and Turin), and created an exclusive salon range of hair products that can be bought online and in-store.

The studio was born from a lifelong mission of the founder, Armando Pace (the self-titled Sarto dei Tagli per Capelli Ricci, or Tailor of Cuts for Curly Hair), to create a space that caters giving curls the respect they deserve. Here, they do dry cuts, hair coloring with curly-friendly products, a very unique Water Curly Routine hydration method, as well as other beauty services (including manicures/pedicures, epilation, and massage).
